High-Quality Preschool for Every Child!
Resources (documents and content) provided by the Southern Arizona Leadership Council (SALC) for the Supercharging PEEPs convening on May 8, 2025.
Now in its 4th year, Pima County's innovative PEEPs Program provides assistance for nearly 1500 children from income-eligible families to attend high-quality preschools. Yet the unmet need in our region is at least 5 times higher. The capacity to 'supercharge' and scale the success of PEEPs requires us to inventory our assets, align resources and unlock collective efficiencies. An analogy that applies: we're all holding unique puzzle pieces and it's time to create new pictures we can assemble with those pieces.
PEEPs' eligibility framework is designed to support families with 3- or 4-year old children (and 5-year olds not in kindergarten) with a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
